By accessing or using Crest Forge ("the Service"), operated by Illumined Analytics ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Crest Forge is an AI-powered service that generates personalized family coat of arms images based on user-provided input. We offer free low-resolution previews and paid high-resolution digital downloads.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate content that is hateful, discriminatory, violent, or sexually explicit
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or security measures
• Use automated scripts, bots, or other means to access the Service in bulk
• Resell or redistribute generated images as a competing service

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate access at our sole discretion for violations of these terms.

4. Purchases and Payments

All purchases are processed securely through Stripe. By completing a purchase, you agree that:

• All sales are final. Due to the digital nature of the product, we do not offer refunds unless the download is defective or inaccessible
• Prices are displayed in USD and may change without notice
• You are responsible for any applicable taxes

5. Intellectual Property and License

Upon completing a purchase, you receive a non-exclusive, perpetual, personal license to use your generated crest image for:

• Personal use (printing, framing, digital display)
• Non-commercial family use (invitations, stationery, gifts)
• Social media profiles and personal websites

You may not use generated images for commercial resale, trademark registration, or as part of a competing product or service. We retain no ownership of the generated images once purchased.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

All coat of arms images are generated by artificial intelligence and are artistic interpretations. They do not represent verified genealogical or heraldic records. We make no claims of historical accuracy or official heraldic authority.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Illumined Analytics shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific transaction in question.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes take effect upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
